Milan, il presidente rossonero Paolo Scaroni all’attacco: ecco le sue parole sulla Serie A e sull’ex proprietario Yonghong Li
Non è solito fare interventi davanti al pubblico o metterci la faccia dopo sconfitte del “suo” Milan, ma quando parla il presidente Paolo Scaroni, sappiamo che lo fa senza peli sulla lingua. Questa volta nel mirino ci è finito l’ex proprietario del Diavolo Yonghong Li e soprattutto il sistema calcio italiano. Scaroni, in occasione dell’evento in Terrazza Martini a Milano per i 125 anni del club rossonero, si è, infatti, lamentato dello stato in cui versa il nostro calcio e ha fatto un paragone scomodo con la Premier League, sottolineando le differenze con i ricavi inglesi.
Queste le parole del presidente del Milan:
Tutto il calcio italiano vive per la Serie A, diamo soldi alla B, agli arbitri. Pagare tutti i conti e non contare niente in Figc mi è sempre sembrato strano. Il sistema deve cambiare. La Premier League incassa 2,2 miliardi, la Serie A 200 milioni. Undici volte tanto
Scaroni, nel suo intervento, ha poi parlato di quando è iniziata la sua storia con i colori rossoneri e ha mandato un messaggio polemico nei confronti dell’ex proprietario del Milan Yonghong Li (che è recentemente stato indagato per debiti non saldati in Cina). Ecco l’attacco del presidente rossonero:
La mia storia con il Milan è iniziata in quella nefasta epoca di Yonghong Li. Io sono entrato nel Consigli di Amministazione del club per conto di Elliott e ho vissuto veramente un anno di passione. Ci sono tutta una serie di obblighi e noi non eravamo mai con i conti in ordine. All’ultimo secondo dell’ultimo minuto arrivavano cinque milioni che ci consentivano di iscriverci al campionato. Un periodo terribile fin quando Elliott è subentrata e mi ha chiesto di fare il presidente: era il 22 luglio 2018 e mi sono presentato all’assemblea dove c’erano azionisti con i musi lunghi e pochi giornalisti. Venivamo da cinque anni senza Champions, forse erano stati gli anni più bui del Milan. So che i tifosi vogliono tutto, anche io vorrei vincere tutte le partite. Ora qualche passetto in avanti lo abbiamo fatto, abbiamo vissuto un grande emozione con lo Scudetto. Sono presidente da sei anni, il quarto più longevo della storia del Milan. Vorrei andare sul podio
