Sono ore di attesa in casa Milan che non aspetta altro che il fischio d’inizio del match di Champions League contro il Borussia Dortmund. La squadra di Pioli è al momento terza in classifica ed è alla ricerca di una vittoria: solo così infatti i rossoneri avranno nelle proprie mani la possibilità di passare il turno. La formazione di Terzic è però una squadra molto forte e difficile da battere: servirà una prestazione perfetta, come quella vista contro il PSG. Sono tre i giocatori del Dortmund a cui il Milan dovrà fare particolare attenzione: Brandt, Fullkrug e Hummels.
Brandt è la stella della squadra di Terzic, centrocampista offensivo in grado di segnare 4 gol e fornire 5 assist nelle prime 12 partite di Bundesliga di questa stagione. Il classe 1996 è nel pieno della sua maturazione fisica e tattica, uomo in più tra le fila giallonere. Altrettanto pericolo è Niclas Fullkrug, attaccante centrale del Dortmund. Classe 1993, il bomber tedesco è esploso molto tardi, prendendosi la scena soltanto nelle ultime due stagioni. Questo non gli ha però impedito di diventare titolarissimo del Dortmund, trovando fin qui 4 gol e 3 assist. In difesa, invece, Hummels è la roccia della squadra. Esperienza al potere per l’ex Bayern Monaco che a 34 anni continua a essere un difensore di assoluto livello.
Per fermarli Pioli si affiderà ai suoi uomini migliori, anche se dovrà fare a meno di Leao. Oltre a Giroud e Pulisic, però, l’arma in più dei rossoneri potrebbe rivelarsi Thiaw: numeri super contro il Dortmund.
